• Image Quality & Artwork Specification Policy

    Effective Date: 22 September 2026

Business Name: Kwikprints ("we", "us", "our")

To ensure your finished prints look crisp, clear, and professional, Kwikprints enforces strict image quality and formatting standards. By uploading images or artwork to our website, you agree to the terms outlined below.

    1. Image Quality & Resolution

The quality of your final print depends directly on the quality of the file you provide.

    • High Resolution Required: All artwork and photos submitted for printing must be of high resolution (ideally 300 DPI or higher at the required print size).

    • Blurry or Pixelated Images: Screenshots, photos downloaded from social media, or low-resolution images can result in blurry, pixelated, or grainy prints.

    • Right of Refusal: Kwikprints reserves the right to hold, reject, or cancel orders if the uploaded artwork is deemed too low quality to produce an acceptable printed product. In such cases, our customer service team will contact you to request a higher-resolution file before proceeding.

    2. Cropping, Framing & File Adjustments

To fit your selected product, size, or print layout, your uploaded image may require cropping or minor adjustments:

    • Automatic & Manual Cropping: Kwikprints reserves the right to crop, scale, or reposition your uploaded image to suit the specific dimensions and template of the item being printed.

    • Important Subject Area: Please ensure that critical elements of your photo (such as faces, text, or main subjects) are centred and kept clear of the extreme edges to prevent them from being cropped during production.

    • Proportions: If your uploaded image ratio does not match the product aspect ratio, cropping will be applied to avoid blank borders or distorted stretching, unless specifically requested otherwise.

    3. Screen Colours vs. Printed Colours (RGB to CMYK)

Digital screens display images using RGB (red, green, blue) light, whereas commercial printing uses CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) ink. As a result, slight variations in color tone, brightness, and contrast may occur between what you see on your monitor or phone and the final printed material. Kwikprints is not responsible for minor color discrepancies resulting from screen-to-print conversion.
