• About Kwikprints

    Welcome to Kwikprints!

Hi, my name is Terry, and I’m the founder of Kwikprints.

My printing studio was originally set up as a small home business to help build my confidence and self-esteem. Not long after starting out, my Facebook community took off, and my products quickly became a hit!

I take immense pride in every single piece that leaves my studio—if I’m not 100% satisfied with a finished product, it doesn't go out the door. My goal is simple: to offer high-quality, beautiful keepsakes that cater to all budgets, while researching prices across the web to ensure I keep my products as affordable as possible.

    What is Sublimation Printing?

All the amazing products in my shop are created using a process called sublimation printing.

Unlike standard vinyl transfers that sit on top of the fabric or surface, sublimation actually infuses the design into the item itself.

    1. Printing: Your chosen design is printed onto special transfer paper using dedicated sublimation ink.

    2. Pressing: The paper is secured onto a specially coated product and placed inside a heat press at around 200°C.

    3. Gas Transfer: Under high heat and pressure, the ink transforms into a gas and bonds directly with the material.

The result? A smooth, vibrant, full-colour finish that is scratch-resistant, durable, and won't fade, peel, or crack over time. It creates a truly permanent keepsake that will keep your memories alive for years to come.

    Sublimation is ideal for:

    • Personalised Items: T-shirts, mugs, phone cases, and bespoke photo gifts.

    • Business Merchandise: High-detail, vibrant promotional products and branded items.

Getting the Best Finish for Your Print

Because sublimation produces such crisp, high-detail prints, the final product depends on the quality of the photo you provide.

To make sure your items turn out perfectly:

    • High-Quality Images: Please send clear, original photos taken directly on your phone or camera. Most modern phones produce fantastic high-resolution images.

    • No Screenshots: Please avoid uploading screenshots or images saved from social media, as these lose quality and can result in a blurry print.

Thank you so much for stopping by and supporting my small business. I look forward to working with you and creating something special!
